Sales Area Manager – Transylvania

Salary:

€1,400 – €1,600 net

A European manufacturer of electrical and electronic solutions for residential and smart building systems is looking for an independent, hands-on salesperson to grow sales across Transylvania.
There are already customers in the region — your mission is to intensify commercial activity, expand key accounts, and capture the strong market potential. You’ll be based in the company’s Romanian entity, while working closely with and reporting to HQ in Italy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the regional sales plan for Transylvania in line with company targets
  • Grow existing accounts and win new business across key customer groups:
  1. Electrical wholesalers / distributors
  2. Electricians & installers
  3. Architects
  4. Developers
  • Develop long-term relationships with different client types and decision-makers
  • Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, discounts, payment conditions, delivery terms)
  • Own your regional sales results and profitability
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; strengthen partner/distributor cooperation
  • Work with marketing on local promotional activities and product positioning
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and customer support
  • Report performance and progress to management and HQ

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales (regional/field sales is a strong plus)
  • Ability to sell technical products (ideally electrical/electronic) and communicate effectively with installers, wholesalers, developers, and designers
  • High level of proactivity, independence, and ownership — you can build a territory without constant supervision
  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Driving license (B) and readiness to travel across Transylvania
  • Languages: Romanian + English required; Hungarian is important for the region; Italian is a plus

Benefits

  • A role with real ownership and direct impact on regional growth
  • Compensation: €1,400–€1,600 net + performance bonus (if applicable)
  • Strong onboarding: two 5-day trainings at the start (Italy + Romania)
  • Company tools (e.g., company car, laptop, phone)
  • Stable employment and long-term growth opportunities within an international group
