Role overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer (Mid or Senior) to join a team working on high-performance data pipelines supporting financial trading, risk, and compliance systems. In this role you will design and build scalable data pipelines and platform components across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle-based systems, ensuring reliable, performant data flows used in business-critical environments. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to the evolution of a modern data platform supporting both batch and real-time processing.

What you will do
- Design and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines in GCP
- Develop integrations and data processing across cloud services and Oracle-based systems
- Deliver reliable, high-performance data flows supporting trading, risk and compliance processes
- Improve data reliability, governance and lineage across the platform
- Automate infrastructure and data workflows using Terraform, CI/CD and containerization
- Collaborate with engineering teams in an international environment
- Contribute to the evolution of the data platform architecture
Requirements
Mid Data Engineer
- Hands-on experience in data engineering or data platform development
- Experience building pipelines using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub or similar)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Experience with Python (or Java / Scala)
- Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT or warehousing concepts
- Comfort working in Agile engineering teams
Senior Data Engineer
- Experience designing and evolving data platforms and data pipeline architectures
- Advanced SQL and strong experience with Oracle / PL-SQL (large datasets, performance topics)
- Strong ownership of data quality, reliability and governance
- Experience with automation and infrastructure tooling (Terraform, CI/CD, containers)
- Ability to design scalable solutions in cloud environments
- Experience working in high-performance or data-intensive environments (financial systems, trading, analytics platforms) is a strong advantage
