1. Gdańsk Christmas Market

Set in the picturesque Targ Węglowy (Coal Market Square), the market is celebrated for its stunning decorations, festive spirit, and a variety of stalls offering handicrafts, delicious food, and aromatic mulled wine. Visitors can also enjoy cultural performances and a vintage carousel, making it a must-visit destination this holiday season. 

2. Wrocław Christmas Market 

Known as one of Europe’s most affordable festive destinations, Wrocław’s Christmas Market spans four locations in the city, including the historic Market Square (Rynek). The market features wooden stalls with handmade gifts, local delicacies, and attractions like a “fairytale” forest, a huge Christmas tree, a carousel, and a rollercoaster. Mulled wine is available for as little as £1.80, and the market runs from November 29, 2024, to January 7, 2025.  

3. Kraków Christmas Market 

Set in the medieval Main Market Square (Rynek Główny) of the Old Town, Kraków’s Christmas Market is the largest in Poland. Visitors can explore stalls offering traditional Polish crafts, festive foods, and unique gifts. The market operates from November 29, 2024, to January 1, 2025, providing a cozy and atmospheric experience amidst the city’s historic architecture.  

4. Poznań Christmas Market 

Poznań’s Christmas Market, known as Betlejem Poznańskie, is held in the Old Market Square and Plac Wolności. The market combines traditional elements with modern attractions, including the International Ice Sculpture Festival, where artists from around the world create stunning ice sculptures. The market runs from November 19 to December 23, 2024, offering a friendly atmosphere with various stalls and festive activities.  

5. Warsaw Christmas Market 

Warsaw’s Christmas Market is located in the city’s Old Town, featuring beautifully decorated stalls offering handcrafted goods, regional cuisine, and festive beverages. The market is complemented by the city’s impressive Christmas illuminations, especially along the Royal Route, creating a magical atmosphere. The market operates from November 29, 2024, to January 6, 2025.
