Salary:

170 - 180 PLN/h

Product company building a mission-critical blockchain analytics and crypto compliance platform. Its mission is to protect customers from financial crime in crypto assets. The work is reliability- and security-driven, because the platform supports risk and compliance decisions around digital assets.

You’ll be a senior-level owner of the DevOps/platform area, shaping platform strategy and driving a culture of reliability, security, and efficiency across engineering teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide senior DevOps leadership across engineering (all layers of the stack)
  • Evangelise DevOps, security, and reliability principles across teams
  • Build and operate resilient infrastructure across multiple regions and AZs
  • Build developer platforms centered on Kubernetes container orchestration
  • Enable continuous delivery using CI/CD pipelines and GitOps tooling
  • Shift-left on security/testing and support progressive delivery in production
  • Measure and improve developer productivity and experience across the SDLC
  • Cost-optimize infrastructure (rightsizing, ephemeral on-demand environments) and engineer away toil
  • Proactively monitor security and reliability using observability tooling (SIEM/APM/tracing/metrics/logs/dashboards)

Tech scope (hands-on):

  • Kubernetes (cluster lifecycle, API, Operator pattern, Helm, CNCF ecosystem)
  • IaC with Terraform (modules, multi-environment strategies, state management, versioning) on AWS/GCP
  • Provisioning cloud infra via Kubernetes controllers (e.g., Crossplane / ACK)
  • Cloud-native distributed systems on Kubernetes + service meshes (e.g., Istio / Linkerd / App Mesh)
  • CI/CD (GitLab CI / CircleCI / GitHub Actions) + GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux)
  • Observability & debugging (e.g., Splunk / Datadog)
  • Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and least-privilege access (e.g., Boundary-style TPAM)

Requirements

Must-have

  • 10+ years in DevOps and 7+ years hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
  • Strong Kubernetes know-how: cluster lifecycle, Helm, Operator pattern, CNCF components/add-ons
  • Strong Terraform practice for AWS/GCP: modularisation, multi-env workflows, state operations, versioning
  • Solid CI/CD + GitOps delivery experience (pipelines + ArgoCD/Flux)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using observability across microservices/serverless systems
  • Security & reliability mindset, ownership, ability to drive initiatives end-to-end

Nice-to-have

  • Multi-cluster Kubernetes provisioning/testing strategies
  • Terraform testing strategies for production
  • Advanced multi-cluster service mesh experience
  • Experience building Kubernetes Operators, API gateways/ingress controllers
  • Production software engineering (Go/Java/JavaScript/Python) + distributed architecture at scale
  • Data Mesh / Big Data exposure (EMR, Spark, Databricks)
  • SLOs, chaos engineering, error budgets
  • BCP/DR planning (RTO/RPO)
  • Crypto domain infrastructure experience (daemons, provider API integrations)
